We are heading to the Walden Farm Pumpkin Patch for a tour guided field trip. We are able to arrive at 11am to have lunch together in the picnic spot before our tour. Please be on time for the tour at 12pm if you do not come early to picnic as I have been told the tour will start on time whether the whole group is there or not because they close at 1:30pm. THE FEE FOR CHILDREN, PARENTS AND SIBLINGS IS $7.50 (Children under 2 who are not getting a pumpkin are free).

RULES ON THE FARM…..Please go over these general farm rules with students before arriving:

1) Look and Listen

2) No running

3) Stay with your assigned group

4) No feeding the farm animals

PLEASE BE ON TIME!  It’s really important for all of us to keep on schedule.  If you are late, your tour will still end at the given time.   

We recommend closed toe shoes or boots.  If it is a hot day, please bring water bottles for the kids.  There is no drinking fountain on the farm.   ***Please be sure to know of any allergies relating to hay, corn, bees or other things students may interact with at the farm.

PICNIC AREA FOR LUNCH- We do have a designated Picnic Area available for your group after the tour.  Sometimes there are several groups here at one time so you may want to bring some blankets to sit on.  Please limit your lunch time to 30-40 min.  If it is a hot day, please bring water for the children.  There is not a water fountain on the farm.  We do have porta pottys and hand sanitizer available. The farm closes at 1:30 and reopens at 3:00 to the public.
