Morgan Farmer Underwood graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2015 with a Bachelors Degree of Arts in Theatre and Education. She has been performing in community, university and professional theatre since early childhood. This will be her second year teaching homeschoolers but she has been teaching theatre since college, at various community organizations and theatre camps. Morgan has directed children’s theatre professionally for two years with Midsouth Youth Theatre in Spring Hill, TN. Some of her other theatrical experiences have included writing theatre enrichment curriculum for preschoolers, writing and touring educational theatre plays in Central America, performing at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival and participating in the theatre honors society Alpha Psi Omega in college. Some of her favorite performing roles have included Eponine in Les Miserables, Wilbur in Charlotte’s Web, a bird in A Year with Frog and Toad, and Shelby Latcherie in Steel Magnolias. Morgan’s favorite role in life is being mama to the world’s most theatrical two year old. Morgan’s goal as a teacher is to help each student find a way to tell their own story, no matter what part of theatre interests them!
