Film History Camp: Taught by DeVaughn Norwood
Ages: 3rd to 12th Grade
We will spend our time perusing the history of cinema, beginning with the invention of the camera in the late 19th century, to the rise of blockbusters in the late 20th century. Our attention will be focused on form, writing, innovation, and genre. We will also spend our time writing and shooting a 30 minute short film of the students’ choosing.
