Summer Camp: Automotive Engineering (6th - 12th Grade)

Date – Time

July 15, 2024 – 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Additional Information

Automotive Engineering Camp: Taught by Steven Luboniecki

Ages: 6th to 12th Grade

As a retired automotive assembly engineer, I am excited to share my knowledge with eager students. There is no firm syllabus as I will adjust our lessons based on interest and time. My intent is to touch and identify all the major automotive systems and sub-systems. Students will assemble a plastic model of a car engine. Students will learn routine maintenance and system identification by using my car as a reference. If you volunteer your car, we will look that over as well, and I promise no harm will come to it.

A “meet me there field trip” is planned to go to the Lane Automotive Museum in Nashville on Saturday July 20th. I am a volunteer there and will give students a private tour and answer their questions. Additional small entry fee will be required for those who come.

Dates: July 15th - July 19th 2024

Time: 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Location: 304 Briston Court, Murfreesboro, TN 37127

Fee: $175 Per Child
